Because the Bible admonishes Christians to be prepared to give a defense of their faith, and because public speaking skills are essential to communicate effectively and are indicative of well-educated individuals, CCA will develop and offer Individual Speech Events which will reflect both arenas.

"As iron sharpens iron," these skills will be honed and character will be refined in the competitive sphere. CCA is committed to fostering and developing speech events which are consistent with a Christian Worldview.

Since the first word of the organization is "Christian," the emphasis on Christian character development is first, foremost and paramount. The second word "Communicators," emphasizes the vehicle in which to develop this character.

Ultimately, the goal for participating in Individual Events is to assist parents in raising a generation which will be well-rounded and well-educated communicators able to speak to "America" and a world needing to hear the hope of Jesus Christ.
